Is it justice that someone burn forever or be annihilated or be cut off from god because [Spirituality & Religion]

they couldn't believe something for which there was insufficient evidence but that someone who steals and lies and murders but says "i'm really sorry jesus, i did wrong and i believe in you" goes to an eternal life of paradise?

If it's justice you want it would mean nobody lives for all have sinned.

@Celine If you were required to follow rules it wouldn't be grace.

@Celine You aren't required to follow the rules and it says so quite explicitly. Salvation is all about letting it in someone else hands who can't fail.

@Celine It is much more than that. Too much to all explain here. Those that suffer, if any, would be out of their own pride. If that pride doesn't exist they would accept.

@Celine Yes, everyone I've met so far who doesn't have had the idea that salvation should somehow be related to the amount of sins a person commits and their severity. That is belief in oneself. Pride

@Celine Well that is what your original post says. Sorry if I'm misinterpreting it but you're saying that the person who doesn't believe but has committed "lesser" sins should go to heaven but the one who believes now but has committed grievous sins should not. Christianity doesn't actually recognise lesser sins and one sin is just as bad as ten. It may work in a court to decide on punishment based on severity of the crime but it doesn't when it comes to salvation and everyone is in the same situation.

Now belief in God is also not based on knowledge of what is as we are all privy to the same knowledge. It can only be something that is transcendental and not based on the state of the human condition. I don't know what the correct criteria for the spirit is but God does and He knows the heart. He has decided on the way to pick that criteria.
