Anyone else find it disgusting that Catholics partake in a simulation of ritualistic cannibalism? [Spirituality & Religion]

Like most of christianity, it was taken from older religions and corrupted. This particular one is a sick parody of the Pagan ceremony of "Cakes and Ale" - essentially a sacrifice where food and drink is shared with the gods.
