Why did god create a universe in which so many of his children would not be saved? [Spirituality & Religion]

What conceivable rationalization is there for valuing that your children love you without knowing if you even exist over saving their eternal souls?

you are blaming God for something man chose. he gave mankind all it needed to save its self and many of mankind chose to ignore it and go their own way. that is not Gods fault.

God did make it unequivocal to early man several times. the flood is one such time, but they still turned against him and sought their own path.

i do not know the mind of God i just know that people come to believe in him every day and millions and millions believe in him. and that he grieves for those who turn against him. he even grieves for you celine

it is my belief that God is the alpha and omega as he says he is. but it is also my belief that no one knows the mind of God, i only know what his word says and what he reveals to me in our daily walk together. and that is never about his mind but rather about my life.

alpha and omega means in greek, the beginning and the end. i believe exactly what that says. it does not mean i know the mind of God.

i do not know the mind of God, so that would by extraction mean i don't know the answer to your question.

not at all, don't assume you know my mind.Simply because i did not answer your question the way you wanted does not mean i am afraid of the answer. i know for myself that not everyone will accept him. i have seen it but i do not know the mind of God. i can't in honesty say what he does know because i am not him.but you are wrong that it is only the Bible that brings people to know him. it is also people like myself and others here and throughout the world. it is even in the bible that people can come to know him through the wonder of nature. not everyone is closed minded against God. many are searching. and many will find him.

as for logic, faith is not logical. it is the belief in things unseen. that leap of faith is totally illogical. it comes from a place where you just need to believe in something greater than yourself. perhaps a place of great pain or sorrow, or perhaps you feel ost or perhaps that still small voice of God has broken through your life. But once you open your mind to the possibility it suddenly becomes clear and everything makes sense. you know joy, love and peace that you have never known before. Yes totally illogical and yet it feels totally right for the very first time.

your logic is not God's logic and you can not assume that because you consider it logical to answer a certain way that its indeed logical to answer that way. were i to say i knew the mind of God i would be saying i am on equal footing with God and i am so very far from that. i am just a simple believer who loves the lord with all her heart, strenghth and might. nothing more.

is it possible that one of the reasons you keep posting here is that deep down underneath you wish you had faith?

i only know what the bible says about god an what he has shown me. sorry but i cannot do any more than that. i don't hypothesize about God. I have always had a very literal faith. i don't question things. the bible talks about the faith of a child and that is what i have always had. sorry that it doesn't meet with your approval.

i am sorry that you have not found God. i won't go into detail here but if you ant to talk further pm me.

you sure assume a lot of things. i said i don't question y faith. that doesn't mean i don't question other things. like why you are so hell-bent on proving God wrong. is it because you think he rejected you?

also by your own admission you are not a scientist so stop with all the difference between faith and science. it is the difference between faith and you. not science

celine i wasn't going to do this but after some prayer, i have decided to. you said you prayed a prayer and waited to be inspired and it never came so God did not choose you.

Everyone i know, myself included goes to god not looking to be inspired, but rather realizing that they are nothing and have nothing God could want. they are broken. they know that they have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. they, in that moment, are willing to give up everything they have for the forgiveness of God. they are not flippant or prideful or waiting to be inspired. and at that moment when they are willing to give it all up, God forgives them and gives them a new life. it's not about eternal life although that is one of his gifts. it is about living your life for him now.
