Why did god create a universe in which so many of his children would not be saved? [Spirituality & Religion]

What conceivable rationalization is there for valuing that your children love you without knowing if you even exist over saving their eternal souls?

Those who love Him know He exists.

MrK007 · 46-50, M

@Celine WTF? That’s what you asked. I responded that those who love Him know He exists. You said that has nothing to do with it, now you ask me this? Are you drunk?

@Celine Unless you believe in Him you are not one of His children. He sent His Son who died for our sins. There’s been a constant chain repeating the story ever since. Millions of people from every walk of life have claimed to have been filled with His Holy Spirit. The lack of evidence that He exists is only in the mids of those who refuse to believe.

@Celine Well you can make up whatever religion you want, but according to Christianity He doesn’t desire for anyone to parish. No one is a favorite. If Christianity is true and you die and go to Hell, it will be because of your decision not His. He created all of us, but we must belive in Him to be adopted into His family.

@Celine This goes to the reason that Jesus had to die, if there was no reason it would be pointless for God to suffer. Jesus sacrifice wasn’t just an I love you card. He paid he penalty for our sins. When we reject Him we claim to be good enough to enter into God’s Kingdom. (Sinless) By placing our faith in Jesus Christ we recognize that we have sinned and are in need of forgiveness.

@Celine Salvation from what? Sin, right? That’s right, if we’re going to use the Biblical word salvation then we must have a Biblical understand of the word. So we need to be saved from our sins. God paid the price for our sin. He allows us the ability to be saved. Salvation. How can we be saved? Well the work is done. All we have to do is have faith. All we have to do is belive. God doesn’t force Himslef on us. If we want to face judgement day on our own He will allow us to do so.

@Celine Millions, and millions of people have personal testimonies of reading/hearing scripture and having God speak to them. Kings, presidents, doctors, scientists, authors, astronomers, atheist, teachers, cooks, and garbage men. I agre you can’t just decide to believe, but you can shut your heart off to believing. That is a choice. It’s part of our sin nature. We reject God even though He has given us life and we are surrounded by His creation.

@MrK007 you may as well just stop trying. she just wants to play gotcha with faith baring questions. the more you answer the more she will change the questions. she wants to ask spiritual questions but refuses to accept spiritual answers so you are doomed to fail in her eyes. just pray for her and don't try to debate her because she won't ever accept anything you say unless you agree with her.

@ladycae Thanks, it just so happens that religion is one of my favorite topics. Also, I use to be just like her. 🤗

@MrK007 tell me what changed you?

@ladycae I was twenty and had just moved to a new city. Someone at work gave me tickets to see a play at a church. I went to see if there were any hot ladies there. At the end of the play the pastor read some scripture and gave an opportunity for people to come forward and accept Christ. I could hear/feel Him speaking to me and I went. For the first time in my life the Bible made sense. I read through it in a year and I was amazed at what all I’d missed when I tried to read it as an unbeliever.
