Anyone else find it baffling when people claim atheism is a religion? Atheism is NOT a religion. [Spirituality & Religion]

I know some theists like to call it a religion for reasons i'm not clear on but it simply isn't.

The real question is that why do they think that? Why do they feel the need to classify it as religion?

@Celine It's also because it causes a lot of internal conflicts so their mind justifies it as some sort of belief as a reason to not question theirs.
