I'm not religious and I eat pork and seafood. I eat Guinea fowl and snails also. I have on many occasions eaten horse meat. I don't like offal and I refuse to buy Halal and Kosher meat because of what I consider to be an inhumane way of slaughter.

Matthew Chapter 15

10. Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand. 11. A man is not defiled by what enters his mouth, but” by what comes out of it. 12. Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”

What does Christian have to do with what you eat? Its not what goes into the mouth that matters but what comes out of it.

@Chickie there's at least one scripture reference above.

@SW-User It talks about how the old testament doesn't applies to the new one but thanks for the info

The Old Testament went by the law of Moses. Jesus comes in the New Testament to change all that and follow the spirit of the law.

Christians aren't forbidden from eating pork and shellfish. Jews are, but that's because they still follow the dietary laws of Moses.

I rarely eat pork but I do eat seafood such as fish. No shellfish due to my desire to remain as healthy as I can. I am more of a turkey and chicken consumer anyway.

I don't eat any meat - nothing to do with religion, though.

I will eat whatever I want. What difference does it make? Your going to die anyway and what you eat isn't going to save you.

When I was a Christian, yes I ate most meat.

I'll occasionally eat ham but that's it for pork. I don't like shrimp, lobsters, or crabs I only eat fish but I really do like grilled salmon.
