Yes. And some of them believe their own lies.

No. Some have a genuine gift/ability. They rarely announce it though...

Yes - if they really had the ability to see the future, they wouldn't be sitting in hokey shops dispensing cold readings and fortune cookie commentary.

I, like many others, have psychic moments ..I know something is going to happen and it does..it freaks me out...but, the ones who charge money and get on tv...no, but...some of them have a real knack for reading people and knowing what they want to hear. Who knows

only the ones that close due to unforeseen circumstances

I actually forgot that I asked this question, but my answer is no. Yes, there are some scammers out there, but there are a handful that are actually truly gifted. I was a skeptic for quite sometime myself, but as I learned I had a gift I became more open to the idea of the spirit realm. You just have to be careful. I have met some very talented people in the field and have had too many experiences for me to say it's not real. It's not an exact science and can't really be explained to a t, but everyone is entitled to their own opininons and that's okay.

Many knowingly pay tricks on their audience and clients, but I believe some are convinced of their own powers. In the latter case it is not a scam. That doesn't mean I also believe in their abilities though. I haven't seen a single one that could take all my doubts away.

No,but perhaps the majority are (for sure)which is enough for those who know differently to divert the masses attention away from something they believe in and indulge in.

Two of the most powerful,if not the most powerful men in the world,at that time,Hitler and Reagan, both employed their own personal psychics. These men were not fools, into wasting time on nonsenses which could not advantage them over others. You do the math...

because those who have the curse are afraid all the time and hide hoping their poison inside them doesn't come true or touch anyone's lives.

Maybe not scammers by intention they kind of get a following from the weak minded and like religion they play on that vulnerability

No, some truly believe they have "the gift". I had a cousin who used to "read" people. She didn't get paid for it, so the only thing she got out of it was the practice and the amusement of weirding people out.
