I am content with it. I almost drowned a few years ago and it got to the point where it felt very relaxing.

@Smikezz2 All the people I revived in the Coast Guard said they come to a point they were like tripping (lack of oxygen to the brain )
And a few actually said they were sad I revived them .
In 70 degree water the body can stop producing heat and they become Hyperthermic
and they say they just got sleepy and wanted to sleep and they exhale on the way down and sink like a rock ,
I was lost at sea ,no like jacket and I fought dying with every thing in me .
But I hear once you stop fighting it and just breath ,you see colors and stuff .
If I was going to cause my own death it would be a lead ball temple to temple
but I have revived countless drowning victims ,they all said the same thing
Its was not as bad as they thought it would be ,you finally have to breath
even if its water and not air .
They were all blessed ,they were in water not to deep for for someone to free dive and retrieve them .
I have had 3 heart attacks but I only knew I had 2 .
I got over that "I'm not afraid to die" crap real quick.
Seeing all my kids on the Ambulance crying also was an incentive to live .
For them I face extreme pain every day knowing one day it may not be bearable .
I pray one day my love for them is enough ,I would prefer to die saving someone
but if not at least of natural causes ,,preferably in my sleep ,not fighting for my last breath

@rckt148 The lake had just thawed out 2 weeks prior and we tipped a canoe in the middle of it. The lake is also glacier fed. I understand what you mean by the hypothermic element too. Thank you for insight. I was also thinking of family members at the time. That is what kept me swimming. I didn't think I was gonna make it and I was alright with that until my leg hit the bottom. I collapsed right away as soon as I got out of the water. Took off my hoodie, shirt, shoes just to try and get warm again.
