I Am Spiritual But Not Religious

Not into organized religion. I don't like being criticized for having my own thoughts, feelings, or opinions. Religion is a forced thing in my opinion. I do believe in a higher power at a certain degree, I'm still working out that one. I do believe Jesus was a real man with real purpose. I don't agree with a lot of Christian practices. I don't agree with many Catholic practices. My spiritual path leans more toward astral travel. I'm sure I'll get some nasty replies but I'm not trying to get a rise out of any of you, this is just who I am, and I'm learning every day.

Your scenario is probably more likely than most. And there is just as much documented and physically tangible evidence to suggest so. I think a lot of people forget that most religious beliefs are created by man. The differences between the old testament and new testament are vast. The later being edited and rewritten to suit the human powers in affect during that time. The gospels when compared to each other make very little coherent sense and constantly contradict themselves. They are after all just stories depicting the opinions of the authors. When we actually open our eyes to what is right infront of us and look at the massive advances in technology in even the time of pharoes, it's hard to believe that we haven't had some kind of interaction with extra terrestrial beings. This would make more sense as the atrocities committed by mankind would surely not go unnoticed by a God of some descript.
