If you are not a Christian, what do you do with all of your sins ( mistakes, regrets, failures, [Spirituality & Religion]

Forgive myself and try to learn from it so I can become a better person. My opinion is that Jesus' goal was to teach love/forgiveness. Forgiving/loving yourself is the most important thing. For some it feels more real to give their mistakes or "sins" to the spirit of an enlightened person and to that I say... To each his own. Do whatever you feel you need to do as long as you're not hurting others in any way. We are not the mistakes we've made.
