If man came about by the evolution process why isnt he still evolving? [Spirituality & Religion]

Is the evolution of man reasonable or logical? Your thoughts please.

Well we *are* evolving.. all the time .. with each generation.. we see kids getting taller..etc.. so we are. .but it is, and always was a slow process.. same with animals
