Is it exercising freedom of religion for a store owner to refuse service to gays? [Spirituality & Religion]

Like in that instance where a cake shop owner refused to sell a wedding cake to a gay couple on the basis that it was against his religion.

Is discrimination protected by religious freedom?

They are there to provide a service to everyone who can pay for it, whether their views approve of it or not. They shouldn't get into public selling if they are going to be bigoted about it.
