Of course not

@questionWeaver care to explain? Religion is faith. To have faith, you must believe in something you can't physically see or feel; 'supernatural' if you like.

@questionWeaver explain how faith is good? You're teaching children things there is no evidence for.
@Shaun
Lol ... sure, what is the issue with that?
Math is built on invented premises
Science is built on limited observation and hypothesis
Even houses are built on ground that one must have faith can support the weight

Are you completely fucking bonkers? The ground must be scanned to make sure it is safe to build upon. If not, additional foundation can be added. Maths and science are the fundamental laws of the universe, not an invisible bloke in the sky.
@Shaun
Clearly you have a bit to learn
Foundation earth is never scanned ... and scanning would do nothing
Foundations are "tested" based on a steel pole hammered into the ground in two spots ... and prayer that the rest is consistent for loading.
Math nor science are fundamental laws for anything ... nobody voted on these ... they are convienent tools at best ... approximations of underlying physical principles we have deemed not important enough to have a deeper understanding of.
I.e.- bouyancy ... explain that one!

If people prayed that the earth was fine for building, I'd argue a lot of building companies would go bankrupt.
@Shaun no ... cause risk of loss is transferred to the homeowner ... builder uses "best efforts"
My foundation tester and engineer said "yep, that is how we do it" ... "to keep the foundation strong, pour concrete, add rebar and go to church"

@questionWeaver that's absolute bullshit. You ask your foundation tester if he would build a house on a plot of land without analysis or testing with rods, but just going to church to pray that it's ok. Of course he would not.
