There are many levels of truth, and none are easy to accertain.

@pedrohedgerow If you believe that you believe the lie.
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 Obviously you are in a false state of awareness.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@pedrohedgerow Nope you are. Truth is true. A lie is false. You can not believe the truth because you love the lie. So be it.

@hippyjoe1955 Stating the obvious is not proof of your conception of the truth over anybody elses.Further, you talk as if you are an oracle, which none of us are.Mind, like parachute, works better when open.

@pedrohedgerow The fact is that truth/lie is a like a light switch. It is on or it is off. There is no middle ground.

@hippyjoe1955 Again, you state what any reasonable person knows,I would not disagree with these statements. However, they are common truths, and are not proof that your opinion holds any content.

@pedrohedgerow Then call me a liar and be done with it. Unfortunately you proved nothing. Either it is true or it is false. there is no middle ground no matter how much you protest or attempt to guild the lily. Truth stands on its own while a lie falls on its own.

@hippyjoe1955 I have no wish to call you a liar, thats not why I answered your question.I gave an answer which experiences in life have taught me,simple as.You have stood on an attitude of "I am right, because I say so".Well, sorry my friend, thats simply not good enough.I wish you well, but this conversation has passed any useful point.

That's how he's coming over to me; he seems a very self-centred person, self opinionated by his overall demure and (some might say) lacking in people-skills that Ministers use to HELP people to understand.

I've had it with joe because he talks either in riddles, he skirts issues that head his way and his biblical definition of the 'Truth' is given by him in a way that doesn't seem suited to a person looking at his responses. As he would put it, he lives within the true 'Spirit' from where he boasts his simplistic values along with his simplistic solution and covers it all under one, single word 'Truth. 'The 'Truth' runs through the Bible yet takes millions of words to help scholars to understand; apparently, none of those words matter more than the single word he alone preaches.

No religious person would take part in (what is now) a debate using a single word to ram his message onwards. Imagine the Sunday services running in such a way as this thread has. He forces arguments and discrepancy purely by stopping with, and staying with, the single word which he seems to think is the ONLY word a person needs to know.
