Matthew 16:28

That was quite some time ago now...so where is he?

thinking about Sodom and Gomorrah supposedly being destroyed because of corruption, there is So much corruption in today's world the whole planet should be in ruins.
@RoxClymer From the fundamentalist perspective the 'old testament' dynamic and the new testament dynamic are completely different. Jesus abolished the law and put circumcision on our hearts. He "once and for all" abolished the law of sin and death, and introduced grace and propitiation. "Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" is the rejection of the gift of eternal life provided freely to everyone through the suffering and victory over death that Christ came to give. "The old is in the new explained, and the new is in the old contained." Isaiah was written thousands of years before the gospels of the new testament but contained a detailed account of Christ's suffering and death.
