@CopperCicada I kneel before Morrigan Battlecrow, Chooser of the Slain, but I also make libations to Tyr and Perun.

@RemovedUsername8862 so celtic and norse pantheon?
RemovedUsername8862 · 26-30, M
@CopperCicada And Slavic. I don't tend to tie myself to the full pantheons, but I find gods from pantheons my ancestors worship who resonate with me. In the case of the Morrigan, I was directly called by her - but in order to represent other sides of my personality, I also picked up worship of the other two gods as lesser patrons.

@RemovedUsername8862 ok. perun must be slavic then. couldn't place that one.

@CopperCicada Ayup. Are you also a follower of the Old Gods?
CopperCicada · M
@RemovedUsername8862 nope. just know about them from various things for various reasons.

@CopperCicada Fair enough. It is amazing how many pop culture franchises seem to be reminding the general public of the old ways.
CopperCicada · M
@RemovedUsername8862 that is not know i know about these things-- pop culture.

@CopperCicada My apologies, I wasn't trying to imply that. I was just commenting on how it seems that you can't wave an athame without hitting five "revamped" myths or legends.
CopperCicada · M
@RemovedUsername8862 sure. it's a pain in the ass i think to people who take these things seriously...

@CopperCicada I'll admit that I wince whenever I see "Thor" in a Marvel movie. Such a bastardization of the Eddas.
