I have some questions and need to clear some doubts concerning 'new age' spirituality. Can anybody help me out please? [Spirituality & Religion]

We have a lot of that in California. It usually involves good intentions, fuzzy muddled thinking, vague beliefs, a half baked attempt at tolerance and compassion toward others, and surprisingly hefty fees for those overly long slightly ridiculous yoga seminars. Sometimes, to make things even worse, cults are involved, or mini-cults involving charismatic yoga and meditation teachers.

If any of this interests you, do some reading in a theosophical or other occult library and you'll find the same information available without the hefty fees and all that pseudo-charisma.

@Felicia: You are entitled to your own opinion. I am only looking to discuss this with someone who wants to help.

@Comet27 I believe that's what she is trying to do. If you have doubts, you have questions, of which she was sharing her knowledge about it. The New Age movement is a counterfeit philosophy that appeals to the feelings of individuals, leading them to think that that they are God and can enhance their lives through their own person. The reality is that we are born, grow up, live a while on planet Earth, and die. Humans are finite. We can never be God. We have someone greater than us, who can provide us forgiveness and life eternal. Through Jesus' death and bodily resurrection, He has won for us what we desperately need: forgiveness from God, a life of purpose and meaning in this life, and eternal life beyond the grave. Don’t miss out on who Jesus Christ is and what He has done for you. Read John chapter 3. If you follow Jesus, your life will be transformed, and you will know who you are, why you are here, and where you are going.
