The Jesus, I Know [Spirituality & Religion]

I do not know where I would be today, if it were not for God's forgiveness, when I mess up. It would be total despair for me. Only through Him could I begin to even forgive myself, and even then, it comes hard. It is at that time, that I have to remind myself that Jesus died for my sins; that He wants to forgive me, if I will but come to Him, even when I feel utterly unworthy.

The only reason Jesus hates the sin in us, is because it saddens him that SIN keeps us separated from Him and his Heavenly Kingdom, that is meant for you and me. He prepared it just for us!! I shall never be worthy enough to be in heaven, yet Jesus says I am!! Can you even imagine that much love?? I can't. It flows beyond our understanding to grasp that much love. In His great mercy, he tells us that it is only SIN that he hates… never us!! He is so utterly and totally loving, that he is eager to forgive us and bring us back into fellowship with him once again. Here's what he said about that:

Romans 8 - "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

I cannot even fathom that much love! I believe it, only because it is Jesus that said it. He is perfect and cannot lie. He came not to condemn, but to save every last one of us....if we'll let Him. His love is perfect. Thank you, Jesus!!! I am forever grateful for you and your great love for me and indeed, the world. You didn't have to, but you did...you volunteered.
