@FeliciaG as adults yeah...kids are malleable and believe what they are told. Some never see the light and turn into Pat Robertson

@Fernie I think a lot of kids instantly see through the deception. Even original sin is about wanting knowledge as much as being disobedient. It's more of this 'smarter to be stupid' nonsense.
