( He let me live, etc. ) I don't understand. If the ultimate goal is to die and go to heaven to be with him for eternity ?

@softspokenman God is not a God of the dead but A God of the Living! Thy will be done on earth as it is in HEAVEN. We've gotta get to know Him while we are still alive if we want to get to heaven!

@schizosaint, His will on earth. He created you in his image. Earth/life/you, doesn't last for eternity heaven does.
