Why do Christians worry about sinning if they believe that Jesus died for their sins? [Spirituality & Religion]

Because sinning does not come without a punishment. That is why there is repentance. Where you ask for forgiveness and make promises not to do that sin again. It has to be done sincerely.

@Emosaur Why do you punish children for transgressions? God has made laws to live by and if they had no ramifications what good are the laws? Thats why he gave us the repentance process.

@Emosaur Who has said what the punishment will be? We know from the Bible that it will be a "just" punishment. Probably most of it is how hard our heart is to the Lord's word and how we live our lives.

@Emosaur Depends on what you know, did you reject his Gospel, do you deny the Christ? God has said he will be just. Our hearts will tell him and he will judge from there. The way we live our life and how we treat others will be a big part of our judgement day. I can't imagine that he will be as interested in what we have done for ourselves as he will be what we have done for others.
