@SW-User Science and evolution are not the same thing. Science itself is a religion and it pushes evolution as its genesis myth. Of course it can not be proven or even shown to work but that doesn't matter. Evolution is faith based.

@Celine There is no actual evidence. It is simply reading what you see in a particular way. IF and its a big IF you look at the evidence it would seem to be true. HOWEVER you have to ask why and at that point the whole theory falls apart. There is no why.

@Celine How about if you explain WHY evolution works.

@Celine If you don't understand why you don't understand at all. That is a simple fact. You need to explain why evolution started and why it continues and why there are stops along the way of evolution.

@Celine You are the proponent and as such it is up to you to tell me why. I don't accept the theory because I have a different theory. However that has nothing to do with this discussion. You have to explain why. Not me.

@Celine Nope. It is entirely up to you to tell me WHY evolution started and works. If you can't do that then you are simply a religionist who spouts the fundamentalist line. You give science a bad name.

@Celine You sound like some fundamentalists I know and don't care for. No logic or understanding of what they say but they keep saying it over and over and over again. Sad really really sad.

@Celine Nope simply pointing out that if you believe in evolution then you should be able to explain it in laymen terms that answers the question why. If you can not do that then you are simply reciting lines you heard or read or think you read or heard. Just like the fundamentalists I know. That is not personal that is simply calling you back on task. If you can't explain it then you don't understand it.

@Celine You don't understand the necessity of understanding why? That is a vital point. It there is no why then you are simply talking faith. You claim of science just left the room.

@Celine Maybe he's asking for the tenets of evolution by natural selection?

1. More individuals are produced each generation that can survive.
2. Phenotypic variation exists among individuals and the variation is heritable.
3. Those individuals with heritable traits better suited to the environment will reproduce at a greater rate, and those traits will therefore flourish.

Those are the simple tenets which mean that evolution by natural selection is inevitable.

@Celine Yes, he needs something to have some sort of purpose, because he wants to claim that his magical entity has a purpose, and that he knows what that purpose is.

Magical entities are unnecessary... he's just trying to create employment for his one.
