If Jesus died for our sins, why do women still suffer the punishment of a painful childbirth? [Spirituality & Religion]

According to the bible, Satan is the god of this world, so I guess misery is the default setting for humanity regardless.

@dunpender Hmmmm. Well, according to the bible, there are no Christians in existence today either, so it's befuddling. This is the only time Jesus mentions "Christians". Obviously you are both right and wrong. There are certainly a lot of "serious Christians" who fully believe in the anthropomorphism that is Satan.

Mark 16:15-18
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

@puck61 But the pain of childbirth is explicitly a punishment from god, not a work of satan
@dunpender I have plenty of knowledge. It's a collection of ancient middle eastern history, poetry, doctrine, and dogma. I reject your rigidity and arrogant manner. I have years of study under my belt. You are not my intellectual or physical superior, and I am not your subordinate.
