Do you believe in God? Why or why not? [Spirituality & Religion]

I was raised Christian, but frankly, I couldn't understand how a "kind" God would let horrible things happen to good and innocent people. I've been an atheist for over 10 years, yet I find myself wondering about religion sometimes.

Ask yourself the question...does God let it happen or does a human make a choice to do wrong? If God controlled every move we made we would simply be puppets not people with choice. Just food for thought...not going to debate:)

I personally believe in free will, which is a conflicting topic in some religions.
