Do you believe in God? Why or why not? [Spirituality & Religion]

I was raised Christian, but frankly, I couldn't understand how a "kind" God would let horrible things happen to good and innocent people. I've been an atheist for over 10 years, yet I find myself wondering about religion sometimes.

Yes of course I do. I'm a Jehovah's Witness.
Mankind is suffering from their (our) own doing.
They were taught differently but didn't follow God's commands.
If a parent taught their kid to not touch the stove because it will burn them, and then the kid does it anyway, the parent is not to blame. God even went so far as to put a wall in between us and the stove, but we climbed on right up over it, and we still do it till this day.
