Do you believe in God? Why or why not? [Spirituality & Religion]

I was raised Christian, but frankly, I couldn't understand how a "kind" God would let horrible things happen to good and innocent people. I've been an atheist for over 10 years, yet I find myself wondering about religion sometimes.

God would work through magic; through wishing power. I think this is the wishful thinking of Man.

@SW-User This is how it seems to me, that an omnipotent creature made everything and can control everything based on wishes or prayers.

@MrMolderburry Besides, we can perfectly argue eternal life without the need of God as the explanation.
