Aren't babies born atheist? [Spirituality & Religion]

They don't have an understanding of god, therefore they can't believe in god.
If they lack a belief in a god then they are by definition atheist.

Technically maybe, but really just like a child should make up their own minds about a religion as they grow, they come to their own conclusions about being agnostic or atheist.

All thinking atheists are agnostic atheists.

@MetalGreymon I suppose thats true. I am hopeful for a higher power, but not convinced. :)

I guess it would be nice if there was a higher power. Although probably not the one described in the bible

@MetalGreymon NO. It amazes me actually, that humans, we conceive of higher powers, gods throughout our history, and then proceed to make them have human-qualities. Like some kind of higher power needs to be petty, have worship made to it or answer prayers.

Amazing how we imprint humanity on our gods :)

lol not so amazing if you ask me.
Turns out gods are essentially just powerful humans. Not surprising since humans made them

@MetalGreymon We want our gods to be better than us, but then we make them human :)
