I feel like I'm going to die from lung cancer, if I am it urgent for me to change my ways. [Spirituality & Religion]

It takes a ego death to reevaluate your life and to question everything, while I struggle with a belief in god. I just can't discard my hallucinations as just mere hallucinations, I feel like death is creeping up on me, now I fear death because I was just about to change my life around. I was in the land of nod wandering with my depression and contemplating about life, death, god, no creator. Now I want live but I feel like the reaper is coming for me.

what you need is a dmt trip, 15 minutes and death won't be scary any more.

@Psychoticenlightment okay, and that's a good thing is it? Doesn't seem to be sorting your head out all that much if you are trying to compare the two.

@Psychoticenlightment I think that hallucinations from mental illness are pretty far from the ego death you get from things like mushrooms or dmt. Personally I fell that I come out much more clear headed and motivated after a trip. Obviously you shouldn't mix it with other medications or trip if you are in a bad headspace to begin with. There is a lot of evidence now that psychedelics can be useful in the treatment of certain mental conditions.

@SW-User ultra-strong hallucinogens may not be the best idea for someone with schizophrenia, just saying

@SW-User according to new studies they could be very helpful, obviously more work needs to be done, but it is interesting.

@SW-User there's a big difference between tentative studies and prescribing a DMT trip, jeez

@SW-User well the first reply was kinda tongue in cheek, obviously I wouldn't recommend anyone trip without researching it and having a trip sitter. I think that most people who know anything about dmt or want to try it tend to read up on it a lot first.
