Go Pray [Spirituality & Religion]

I feel like "some people" who go to Church and worship the Lord are mentally lazy.The reason why I say this is because when someone ask for advice, the first thing that comes out of some peoples mouth is go pray or read this scripture.I feel like they are mentally lazy and not considering the fact that not everyone is religious.Those who are religious and don't throw their religion or the go pray saying to others but actually used their brain to help I feel are the best.Beforr you start using the go pray or read thus scripture make sure that the person you are talking to is religious themselves,if not then don't force your religion on them unless they give you the okay.

Kinda well put, but the main reason it's mentally lazy is that they don't explain their thoughts themselves, then refer to scripture. The only part I disagree with is that you have to find out if the other person is religious... no... not really... that wouldn't matter. If praying and scripture are appropriate - then someone's religiosity or lack thereof is not relevant. At all. The advice stands on its own merits.
... that said... as an initial response, you're right - it's mentally lazy.

@SW-User Exactly my point.And I actually prefer someone who uses their own mind,thoughts,and experiences to help.Like the saying goes to each their own. But honestly by asking the person if they are religious saves a whole lot of talk or time because the person who isn't religious may not bother with what the religious person say.
