“Never My Love” – The Association

[media=https://youtu.be/UzgpB9xpyT8]
I like what someone on YouTube had to say about “Never My Love” and The Association’s performance of the song. Their assessment is succinct and spot-on:

“There’s a beauty to this song that is immeasurable. Lyrically it’s poetic, musically it’s soothing, it has just the right amount of crescendo without being overbearing, harmonically it’s almost haunting.”

I taught English to young students while I was in Asia.
I showed this song to my students and we sang together after I explained the words in lyrics.
But that was 10 years ago, nowadays kids might think it’s lame.

@Eyeinthesky That's really cool. You might be surprised, though, about how kids would react to the song now. I have a feeling it might still appeal to them.

I agree, the kids these days are looking for good music, and they seem to only be able to find it in older music.
