“Corazón” – Carole King [I Like This Song]

With its Latin beat and Spanish lyrics, this song from Carole King’s 1973 Fantasy album is a significant departure from the kind of music usually associated with the popular singer-songwriter.

A lot of people apparently enjoyed dancing to “Corazón”, judging from comments I’ve seen. That isn’t too surprising as King’s song almost seems to anticipate the dance-oriented disco music that would dominate the airwaves a few years later.

Also, Carole King turns 79 years old today. Happy birthday to Ms. King.
