My favorite lines in two different songs

The lines below are from two different songs and they are by far my favorite lyrics of any songs I have ever heard. I guess it’s because of colors or the imagination of colors. There is the “you” though as well, and both song lines remind me of one person. I did not know him when I heard the first song I and we quit talking before I heard the second song, but he is my favorite color so bright I can hardly see, or at least he comes to mind.
