I listen to Beethoven or other classical music (primarily from the Classic or Romantic eras; never modern) either on a turntable, via a cd player, or in my head.

@Umile Well, perhaps, but anyone can listen to & enjoy classical music, and remembering entire pieces is, like any genre, largely a matter of repetition of those pieces which one likes.

Knowing more about music takes a little study, but the internet makes that more accessible than it used to be.
