Imma give you some heavily rotated J-pop and other fringy Asian shits on my playlist🤣
Ado is one of my favorite artist to have happened to the J-pop scene in the last couple of years. She’s a fucking riot of a singer, doing some weird chameleon stuff with her voice. She’s like how Sia used to be, never showing herself/her face in public. Her biggest hit, New Genesis, was the theme song for One Piece anime movie last year. But it’s her other songs that I like better. She’s really hard to describe or categorize so I won’t even attempt it😅 Usseewa is my favorite😊

I just recently started listening to this guy. Jazzy retro easy listening pop vibe.

And along the same line, this Chinese American kid from Southern California. Who is a super talented musician. He writes, produces, plays every single instrument and films. He’s actually got quite a following in Japan and even sings in Japanese sometimes. He’s a son of one of my good friends.
