Random songs that pop up during my life that affect me
So recently random songs have been popping up that I either havent heard for ages or never heard, but they have affected me emotionally, either postivelt or negatively. So to help me keep a record of them and help sort out why they make me feel the way I do im going to put them on here lol.
Why this first one affects me seems very obvious. It's one of my favorite covers of a song but i havent listened to it for a long time until it popped up on YouTube today. Everytime I hear it it makes me cry, both for him, for the original writer of the song and for me too as a lot of the lyrics resonate with me. I think both versions carry a lot of weight but with the regrets Johnny had about some things he did in his life, what he had acheieved and then destroyed, mixed with the fact he died a year after releasing this means his version hits harder for me.
