20 eh... That's almost old age right there... 🤭🤭🤭

My mom says my knees are going to be the first to go as I get older! 🥺

@SW-User Not necessarily... I was 9 when my knees went... I have more trouble with my back than anywhere else now.

SW-User
How bad is your back?

@SW-User I'm living on 400mg ibuprofen and paracetamol just to get through the day. Without that, I struggle with even basic things like going to the toilet, making myself a sandwich and dressing from the waist down.
On really bad days, I've been reduced to crawling around on my hands and knees.

It’s actually gotten so bad you physically have to crawl? 😢
Did you suffer a back injury at one time? What has caused this?

@SW-User Yes... I was actually taking tramadol and paracetamol during that time just to get me off the floor. As far as pain relief goes, I still don't think that tramadol did all that much to ease the pain and I didn't particularly like the drunk sensation I got from it.
They wanted me to go to a doctor's surgery in snow like that. I was struggling to stand up for long enough to sit on the toilet... so there was no way I could walk to the surgery through the snow.
I had to take soon to be ex's full weight on two occasions just a few weeks apart. Soon to be ex is a foot taller than me and two stones heavier. The first time wasn't so bad... I felt about the same as you do when you put something heavy down after straining your muscles carrying it for a while, with a little burning sensation - which eased in a matter of minutes.
The second time, I felt a burning/ripping sensation (at the same time) it was like someone had suddenly sprayed my back with muscle rub - then I got an ache that has never gone away since that day. If anything else, it's gotten worse over the last twenty years.
I did find that I was able to get pain killer free with the help of acupuncture three months before the pandemic - but I can't afford to pay for those sessions privately.
