I have a feeling Beto O'Rourke may be an emerging "Dark horse" in 2024

He seems to be gathering a rather significant following especially, with younger folks and women. Thoughts?

I think he needs to legitimize himself as a legislator. What he's done so far isn't enough IMO. He's also lost the last two campaigns he's run. I'm think he's smart, driven and compassionate. But the national stage is a little different animal. I think the dark horse is Gavin Newsom depending on how things play out in the midterms. Long way away. A lot can change pretty quickly these days.

@Ynotisay All good points. As for me, I was a horrible student but oddly, a great teacher so I kind of question the need to "legitimize" legislative skills. You're probably right though.
