The former forces women to cover up and the latter forces women to uncover😅 what’s the difference?
Recently France also banned modest women swimwear.

France is trying to stop the imposition of an unofficial but enforced islamic dress code within the country. I don't agree with their tactics but appreciate where they are coming from. If it was up to me I would be targetting the people (usually men) that are trying to impose this dress code through legal methods such as punishment/deportation.

@CheekyBadger Isn't it too late for France to try this? They have millions of Muslims, and they will dress how they want. Why invite them if you are not going to accept the way they dress?

@SW-User since this is from over two years ago my memory is hazy but from what I recall I was referring to the enforcement of dress codes through threats (or use) of violence and not necessarily just against practising muslims either.
