@TryingtoLava It won't even need to go that far. Conservatives are going to enact laws that will be repulsive to so many people, even other conservatives will vote against them. I haven't heard any conservative commentators say that the Dobbs decision will be good for Republicans in the midterms.

@LeopoldBloom Don’t be so sure this will be reversed yet. The reason Republicans are getting bolder, putting in place more unpopular policies is because they’ve got control of the voting process, making it harder for liberals to vote every step of the way. Soon, it won’t matter how unpopular they are, they won’t be able to lose. We’re headed for permanent minority rule!

@Theyitis The Supreme Court will be considering cases involving racial gerrymanders next year, and whether a state legislature can ignore the election results and appoint the loser if they want. I think we all know how they will rule.
