How to avoid domestic voience?

Just heard a story about a women who was shot in the head after rejecting a man's advances. Or killed because she was pregnant and refused to get an abortion, or she had an abortion and tried to breakup with him which ended up with her being killed.

I hear about women being tortured and killed by their partners for all kinds of reasons. Makes me not want to date at all because there's so much abuse that goes on and I'm a black women so I understand that I'm vulnerable to this type of thing.

Then there's incels. This world just isn't safe for women
