Glad I am retired for just this reason. Seems like so many would sell their souls to suck up and try to get a promotion. Funny to watch them though if I hadn’t had to work around that type so long.
@cherokeepatti YES! Some people would sell their souls to get to the top!!! Good and truthful answer! 👍
@cherokeepatti And worse when your co workers try to compete with you… I’m like oh… I’m just trying to make a living. Lol

@NoGamesTolerated You have to watch for the knife aimed between your shoulder blades. I have trained and worked with some who thought they could play games. We’d go clock out in late afternoon and I’d watch her face. If she was hiding it behind a newspaper or the bill of her hat it meant she had called of the supervisor and tried to stir up something on someone, sometimes me and sometimes our lead. She would try to take charge in certain situations where we worked together in order to get brownie points. And hide out when the rest of us were working. I found evidence of that like newspapers left behind in rooms she was hiding out in. She ended up quitting within a few years when she found out that her tactics weren’t working. And others did the same. Some did get promoted but who cares as long as they weren’t messing with me.
