Ok so I heard through the grapevine that one of my coworkers likes me as in like likes me.

First of all I'm in my late 40s and I believe she is 34. I do not feel comfortable dating someone that much younger than myself. I may have vampire genes and look good for my age but I'm still older here. Now if she was 40 then ok but she's not. She also has 5 kids and I myself have 0 kids. I have no idea how to be a parent/dad because I was never raised with a dad myself. I know he exists and I know who my dad is but he never bothered to come around. The only male figure I really had in my life was my grandpa but he's been dead for awhile now. Plus dating coworkers is complicated if things go bad. Everyone picks a side and it's just awful. I made that mistake in my 20s and again in my 30s, not gonna catch me doing that in my 40s. I've learned my lesson.

So is there a gentle way that you can let this coworker know you are not available?
buriedalive · 46-50, M
@ServantOfTheGoddess I plan on not saying a word unless approached.

I sense a breeze of destiny behind your words

@elafina breeze of destiny?
elafina · 36-40, F
@buriedalive yes I mean like you are passing by the same spot of the cycle, in your 20s 30s and now once again..
