You may never know...

I don't post here much, but I wanted to comment on something that has been on my mind for some time. I don't know how many members are on this site nor do I really care. There are real people here. Forget the trolls, the political fanatics, the fetishists, the bullshitters, the haters, the porn lovers, the selfie posters, etc. I am talking about authentic people. Those who care. Those who are struggling. Those who log in and respond with honesty, empathy, compassion, wisdom. Those who ask questions and want real answers. Those whose humour and wit make me smile. Those whose name or avatars immediately bring me to them. My inner circle consists of amazing people-they have always been special to me. Most of them gathered here from EP while others I gathered here. They matter to my heart. Real people. There are strangers here too. Some more approachable than others. Rarely do I regret reaching out on SW. Some of my dearest friends I have made in this manner. I am rambling, that is my way. Back to my reason for posting. I just want to say that you may never realize how a kind word or more may help someone. When I have time, I try to pm people that matter to me. There is never enough time as life keeps me busy. Confession? Sometimes it takes me days or weeks or longer to reply. And I always reply to pms unless they are hi or how are you from strangers. If I know someone needs help or I feel they do, I send a message. This makes a difference to them as well as when it is reciprocated. So I am encouraging the real people here to continue to reach out or to reach out to others (safely). Your words may lift spirits. You may make someone's day. You may save a life even. I may appear at times to be confrontational to some. Bizarre in my opinions and beliefs. Or appear to be limited in tolerance to a few.

Yet I often at times attempt to be helpful. Specifically regarding this site. Yet as well encouraging others to post more regarding controversial topics.

Did this last recently, to a user that has had some serious warnings today.

I do attempt to recognize that everyone is different. That no two people will have the same behaviors. Weather it's confrontational or of a easy going nature as yourself.

Sometimes it appears that I am being rude, when I give warnings about the TOS. Yet my intent is just purely warnings. I dislike seeing even those given warnings being kicked off for groups of user retaliation.

I see things differently though. Not as polar type of thinking, as my recent music posts indicates with the ending line of...

The words to me are basically irrelevant, because I think in terms of music. I find it ironic that with most, that they think in terms of words or musical lyrics.

Many of my replies are as such as this post. It doesn't matter what the topic is. My values or what I consider important just do not follow the prevailing values.

Not that I don't consider certain things wrong yet even the importance of what I consider wrong doesn't have the same weight of the majority. So I often am blocked for those different opinions.

This also applies to those various topics you have mentioned, because I simply block no one which is as well a rarity.

I have no qualms with those who either block or block me specifically. Just that is as well my own peculiarity. Blocking simply doesn't matter to me in the normal sense.

I welcome change in all things. To me change is life itself. So I don't limit myself to any group excepting the most intolerant users of topics.

In that light I do have one set of groups in mind, not users, because I find they are the most intolerant. I dislike such confrontation, yet at the same time I can not let such polarized opinions effect everyone else.

Not an excuse really, just how I am. I do feel everyone is entitled to an opinion. Yet not at the cost of the whole sites experience.

Yet this includes even the admin themselves, like with this recent confrontation...

If it should ever be a major majority opinion, I doubt I'll be here much after that. Like ¾s of the site. Likely I would get all kinds of warnings where I currently have none right now.

Sort of a proof of this last statement for those of a noisy nature, like those who have blocked me yet have more than one account. Not you my dear friend! 🤗
