english Yes... don't you see that, if we as a species, do nothing... if anything, the overall impact on the environment is going to be even worse than what we had before the lockdown.
The main reason being the commute to and from work. Without carpooling and people taking others to work, there will be more vehicles than ever before on the road and rails as we try to deliver the workforce to where it needs to be, more pollution and more people dying from respiratory conditions like asthma and COPD.
People aren't going to want to cycle or walk to work when the weather gets colder, so that idea is never going to fly in the longer term.
We need more investment in things that are going to build on the temporary success that we have had and bring about more permanent results.
