I worked at a huge company. Somehow, who cleaned the refrigerator out became chaos. Resolved by whatever the labor board or court is, a regular judge, HQ HR executives, the Unions and management. A bunch of people put in for transfers and got them. It was a mess. All started by a dumbass micromanaging boss not realizing it’s the 21st century. Also not recognizing that talented, educated people can, and are willing to get jobs elsewhere.

@Thatsright I'm sorry for your bad experience. WE have a chart, and we know which week is our week to clean. One of our volunteers quit, so I have to do 2 weeks every month.

@4meAndyou I didn’t care. I was within sight of retirement. I requested and received a transfer to a different, easier position away from a high pressure unit. At the same pay. It was funny, the annual HR training discussed that incident and the accompanying incidents it spawned. It was in the annual training each year. Employees who are wronged who get lawyers scare employers.
