Why did I volunteer to help my nephew with his resume again? I haven't written one in over a decade.

He's having trouble finding a new job because he's miserable at the one he is at. He believes it's his resume that's holding him back so he sent it to me to look over. I agree his resume is the issue it's very slapped together in appearance and content. I volunteered to fix it but am regretting raising my hand. I haven't written a resume in over a decade. Here I am staring at my screen trying to figure out where to begin.

Having a good resume and keeping it updated is very important. Writing one is easy. Filling it with verifiable accomplishments is the hard part.
