I don't understand people who keep their cameras on during a lecture

Showing your triple chin to the class as you walk outside, and now lying in bed in the dark, flapping your armpit in front of the camera. It reminds me of the lady from last year who would jump into bed each class and eat a McDonald's cheeseburger, then she would scrunch up the bag and throw it on the floor.

Maybe it's me, but I don't want a bunch of strangers watching me, let alone like that.

I had to do a video call once with the woman who'll be teaching one of my law classes at university soon. There was only me and one other guy on the call with her.

I absolutely hated every second of it 😅 i would have had my camera off the whole time if I could.

What's even worse is that day was the deadline day for the last assignment of the online law course I was doing to get into university.

I hadnt slept because I was working on it all night and I'd had about 5 coffees and some anti anxiety medication.

I was completely unable to sit still, I couldn't think of anything useful to say and I kept wanting to laugh 💀

@SomeIrishPerson Hahahah omg that's the worst! I always have to turn my camera off because I fidget and want to laugh 😂. The other day, I had a fly that kept landing on my head while I was talking, and I kept trying to casually swat it away, but it was getting out of control, so it was on my head just buzzing while I was trying to be serious 😭😂

Whenever mine were online, I would only ever put my camera on if we were put into smaller breakout rooms to do activities or if it was one on one because I've actually fell asleep in the larger lectures

@caccoon Hahahah I wish I had her confidence. She would set her camera up on the end of her bed and spread eagle and chomp away, but at least she would pick her bags up before the next class.
