I will never understand

When people say they don't trust me when I have given them zero reason to not.

My peace of mind is more important than being devious, coniving, or vindictive. Being truthful, open and honest helps me keep my peace of mind.

Why would I waste my peace of mind on something temporary?

If someone can't trust me, that tells me they aren't trustworthy to not recognize it in someone else.
