Why do we risk trust even after it’s been shattered?

By not placing humans on a pedestal, not treating trust as expectations and realizing everyone can shatter that trust at any point. Is it their responsibility to not break it because WE deem them to play a roll they didn't agree to?

P.S. When you stop placing such a huge demand of trust on others, you are free. What they do is on them.

@Magenta Thats a good article. I have learned through trial and error to keep better boundaries.
It leads to less disappointment.
