Why would someone put all their trust and feelings in someone they've only been knowing for 4 weeks?

I've heard of couples meeting and within 24 hours getting married and they celebrated over 40 years married it's rare very rare but it does happen.

putting All you trust in someone after a month is certainly bad, but gain trust is part of getting to know someone

the character sounds very gullible and vulnerable.
